Frank Bogar, twin, died on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his home in Pearland at 5:30 am. He was born June 15, 1934 to Karolina "Carrie" Rothbauer and John Bogar. He married Kathleen Flores April 3, 1971 in Houston, Harris County, Texas. Uncle Frank will be buried in South Park Cemetery, Pearland, Texas. Additional info will be added as it's received. He is preceded in death by his parents Jan and Karolina Bogar; son-in-law Robert Peirsol Jr.; brother Louis Bogar; sisters, Albina, and Lilly. Left to cherish Frank's memory are his loving wife, of 50 years, Kathleen Bogar; daughters Kimberly Bogar Metcalf, Barbara S. Peirsol, Elizabeth A. Martinez, Gloria A. Rendon; twin sister Frances (they were the first set of twins born in Shiner Hospital, Shiner,TX); grandchildren Jaime, Christopher, Melanie, Brittiany, Cody, Kyle, Katelyn, William Ross & Cameron; great grandchildren Alex, Archie Jr., Adrian, Casandra, Karl Jr;. great-great grandchildren Jayden, Arian, Amaya, and one on the way (May 2022). Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who was a wonderful provider for his family. He was known by his family as a jack-of-all-trades and could do just about anything he set his mind to. Frank worked as an accountant for Dixie Pipe Company for 35 years. In his spare time, he loved working on cars, doing yard work, and tending to his garden. Frank loved bar-b-quing for his family and making his famous bar-b-que sauce. He also loved to dance. He especially enjoyed Czech music and polka dances. Frank will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation and Rosary for Frank will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, Texas. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 – 8:00, with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 pm. The funeral mass is scheduled at 10:00 am, on Thursday, January 13th, at St. Helen's Catholic Church, in Pearland, Texas with Father Jim Courville officiating.
