Bio
He worked many years for the Pioneer Bus Company as a mechanic and later for Roadway Trucking Company. Emil was a World War II veteran with service as a Sergeant in the Pacific theater. He served two years in the Army Air Force from 1944 to 1946. Surviving are his wife Magdalen Janda Barta of Houston, TX; his son, Daniel Barta, and wife Jeanette, of Kingwood, TX; daughter Patricia Burns and husband Jimmie of Baton Rouge, LA; nine grandchildren; Tammy Barta, James Barta, Julie Harrison and husband Russ Harrison, Jim Brewer and wife Elena, John Brewer and wife Elizabeth, Mark Brewer and wife Jennifer, Matt Willis and wife Carolyn, Darrell Burns and wife Beverly and Deborah Young and husband Aaron; 37 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
