Graveside services for Sherry Sue Sides Haddon, 76, will be held Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Joe E. Jones Memorial Chapel at Childress Cemetery with Edwin Sides officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. She passed away December 20, 2021 in Lubbock. Sherry Sue Sides was born August 18, 1945 in Quanah to Ralph and Ruth Myers Sides. She loved to read and loved George Strait. She was a backup singer in a band in her college years. She loved her dogs and her sweet tea, the sweeter the better. She also loved to travel and enjoyed playing Canasta with her siblings. She hated the color lavender. She was also active in the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed her time with her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dennis Haddon and her brother-in-law, Joe Jouett. Survivors include her daughter, Kelley Harth of Lubbock; her son, Jarrod Haddon and wife, Miranda, of Lubbock; grandchildren Justin Harth and wife, Amber, and Grayson Harth; a great grandson, Logan Harth; a sister, Cathy Jouett of Childress; a brother, Edwin Sides and wife, Kim, of Childress and numerous nieces and nephews.
