Bio

Stella Loden Lesley, 84, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at her daughter's home. She was born April 10, 1917, to the late George Hamilton Loden and Hattie Loague Loden. She was a retired homemaker and a member of Friendship Methodist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tom Potter officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Christian and her husband, Bobby, of Dorsey; two sons, Charles Lesley and his wife, Gloria, of Mooreville, and Gerald Lesley and his wife, Sarah, of Dorsey; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan "Pud" Loden and Elvie Loden, both of Peppertown. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. "Pete" Lesley, and an infant son.
