Bio

Elizabeth Parrott was born on 19 July 1801 in Maryland, the eldest child of William James Parrott and Matilda Ann Tharp(e), both natives of Talbot County, Maryland. The Parrott family were an old established Maryland family of English origin, with an hereditary connexion to Canterbury Manor in Talbot county. Elizabeth Parrott was wed to John Lane in 1820 in Warren county, Ohio. John Lane had followed Elizabeth's family in removing to Warren county, Ohio, between 1815 and 1818. Elizabeth Parrott and John Lane had at least ten children. Elizabeth Parrott Lane died on 19 December 1892 in New Carlisle, Saint Joseph county, Indiana, and lies buried next to her husband John Lane at the Hamilton Church Graveyard in Hamilton, Saint Joseph county, Indiana. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Parrott-573
