Mrs. MARY ELIZABETH (OREBAUGH HAYSE) FLANAGAN was the daughter Russell L. Orebaugh and Mrs. Mary Martha Cordelia (Hamilton Orebaugh) Smith. She was the stepdaughter of Horace Hergeon Smith. She was the wife of Chester Ray Flanagan Sr. who survived her in death. Obituary "Mary Elizabeth Flanagan Mary Elizabeth Flanagan, 72, of Harleton, passed away December 6, 2012 at her residence in Harleton. Mary Elizabeth was born in Marshall, Texas on March 6, 1939 to R.L. Orebaugh and Mary C. Hamilton Orebaugh. She married Chester Flanagan, was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for all of her family. She also enjoyed fishing and garage selling. She is survived by her husband, Chester Flannagan, of Harleton; daughters, Carla Howlett, Theresa Jackson and husband David, Mary Beth Thompson and husband Toby, all of Marshall; sons, Chester Ray Flanagan, Jr. and wife Mary Ann, Donnie Flanagan and wife Patricia, all of Marshall, and Floyd Flanagan and wife Charlene of Harleton. Also surviving Mrs. Flanagan are ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, five sisters Evelyn Alexander of Marshall, Brenda Brown of Florida, Nona Faye Aikins of Big Sandy, Tammy Perkins and Martha Mapes, both of Marshall; four brothers, Jackie Smith and Jody Smith, both of Jefferson, Charlie Smith of Waskom, and Frankie Smith of Louisiana, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters Elizabeth Brown and Cathy Tims."
