Eliza Williams married Newton Carroll Collins on 24 Jan. 1861 in Hardin County, Texas. They had eleven children. They had five daughters that lived to adulthood. They had six sons that died in infancy. Obituary Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Collins after a long illness with pneumonia passed over to the silent at her home in the Rockland community of Jack County on 7 January and was laid to rest at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery on the 8th officiated by Rev. Higgins. Mrs. Collins was a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist Church and waited patiently for the Master's Call to enter the city not made with hands.
