Bio

C. Friedrich rites planned for Monday Services for Clarence H. Friedrich, 70, 106 Park Ave, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Howser Mortuary. The Rev. N. A. Hanneman will officiate. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-9 p.m. Sunday at Howser Mortuary in Norfolk. He died Thursday at a Norfolk hospital. He was born Nov. 28, 1915, to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Friedrich at Oral, S.D. He came to Norfolk as small child. On Jan. 20, 1940, he married Viola Johnson at Wayne. They farmed north of Norfolk until moving to town. He worked for Norfolk City Park Department for 20 years, retiring on Dec 15, 1980. Survivors include his wife, Viola, a stepdaughter, Erleen Johnson, Norfolk, four sisters, Martha Behrens of Amherst, Colo., Kristine Loeb of Laurel, Clara Stolke of California, and Dorothy Hughes of Wayne, one brother, Edgar Friedrich of Norfolk. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and two brothers.
