Rebecca Jane Mack was born 3 Jun 1858 in Wood County, Texas to Amos Merriman Lassiter and Eliza Ann Jones. Her father died in 1862. Her mother remarried to J C Jenkins. Rebecca Lassiter was first married to James Taylor on 8 May 1872 in Anderson County, Texas. There were no known children from that relationship. She married George Mack on 16 May 1875 in Grimes County, Texas. There are 6 known children from Rebecca's 2nd marriage. Rebecca's mother was married 1st to Amos Lassiter, then to James C Jenkins. Rebecca comes from her mother's first marriage to Amos Lassiter. Rebecca Jane Lassiter first married James Taylor 8 May 1872 in Anderson County, Texas. 2nd, she married George Mack on 10 May 1875 in Grimes County, Texas.
