Born to Jesse Pierson (1841-after 1880) of Missouri & Mary Frances Burke Pierson (1850-1931) of Illinois. William married 1) Catherine Sarah Loretta "Etta" Kelley (1871–1905) on Mar. 15, 1891, in Collin County, TX. Five children: • Evie Mae Pierson Thomas (1892-1982) • Bertha Chloe Pierson (1894-1904) • William Alvin Pierson (1895-1918) • James Leslie Pierson (1900-1951 in prison; see death cert. at left) • Eugene Virgil Pierson (1903-1928) William married 2) Mary Conway (1886-after 1917) on Nov. 24, 1917, in Yale, OK. No children. Mary was the daughter of Fairfield Clarkson Conway & Susan Adaline Conway.
