George was a longtime area bulldozer operator still working until he was nearly 70. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. He was a hard worker and excellent provider to his family and instilled his conservative nature in each of them. George enjoyed taking care of animals, gardening, and playing dominoes. His family was truly his life and he will be remembered as a faithful husband who enjoyed eating everything Marlene cooked or baked, a loving father who taught his sons to work hard and enjoy the outdoors, taught his daughters how to dance by having them stand on his feet, and a doting grandfather who spent as much time as possible with his grandchildren.
