Bio

Linda R. (Junso) Mills, age 75, died suddenly on Thursday, September 30, 2021 of an apparent heart attack in the Prairie Lakes emergency room. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the Furness Funeral Home of Clark. A private family service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 with burial to follow at Prairie Valley Cemetery in Raymond, SD. Linda was born in Watertown, South Dakota on December 29, 1945, to parents Edwin and Mavis (Meseberg) Junso and attended grade school and high school in Castlewood, SD. Shortly after, she became a stay-at-home mother and helped with the family tree business. She married John Mills on February 14, 2011. They resided on the farm east of Raymond. Linda and John enjoyed camping and they rarely missed camping on Independence Day weekend for sure. She enjoyed the holidays with family very much and loved to give gifts to everyone Linda truly enjoyed singing and had an amazing voice, she also enjoyed people and conversation and traveling to 14 different states with her ministry as she was an officially ordained minister. Linda is survived by her husband, John Mills of Raymond; two sons and daughters-in-law, Terry & Lorie Beynon and Rob & Karen Beynon all of Watertown; five grandchildren, Todd, Greg, James, Jake and Abby; and eight great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Mavis (Meseberg) Junso, her one-day old twin daughters, Jerri and Lori Heckler, stepson Chris Mills, and her siblings, Lewis Junso, Eunice Kannas, Galen Junso, Dennis Junso, and Larry Junso.
