According to research by Jennifer Styskal Faust (#47308726) she was born in house #46 to František Lorenc and Maria Hnilecka. She married John Kouma, November 21, 1871 in Hostolice, Bohemia. Two sons were born to this union: František (born August 27, 1872 - died July 9, 1878 in Hostolice), and Anton (born December 30, 1875 Hostolice - died April 3,1919 in Butler County, Nebraska). '''''''''''''''''' The Southern Nebraska Register (Lincoln, Nebr.), August 12, 1938, p. 7, col. 5 Mrs. John Kouma Funeral services for Mrs. John Kouma, 88, who died Aug. 2 at the home of Mrs. Barbara Kouma, were held in Assumption church, Dwight, Thursday, Aug. 4, at 9:30, the Rev. Benedict Bauer, O.S.B., officiating. She is survived by her brother, Lawrence; her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Kouma; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Interment in the Assumption cemetery.
