Daughter of Mary Meir and Carl Morgenroth. OBITUARY!: Victoria Advocate Newspaper, Victoria Co.,Texas,9 Jan. 1990. Edna Morgenroth Garrett, 94, of Kerrville, a former Victoria Couty resident, died Sunday. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrvill, with the Rev. J.R.Dye officiating. A former resident of Victoria and DeWitt Counties, Mrs. Garrett was born on Aug. 10, 1895, in Lavaca County. She married Bill Garrett in 1914, and had lived in Kerrville since 1919. She was a member of First Christian Church of Kerrville, Kerrville. Rebekah Lodge no. 239, and a member of the homemakers Club for many years. She is survived by a son Carl Eugene Garrett Sr. of Ingram; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Frank; and two daughters, Mary and Ethel.
