Funeral services for Brett Thomas Parks, 51, of Gilmer, Texas are scheduled for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 28, 2021, in the chapel of McWhorter Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Smith officiating. Interment to follow at Judson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Friday, August 27, 2021. Brett was born August 18, 1970, in Paris, Texas to James Thomas and Eola Ann Feagan Parks and passed from this life August 23, 2021, in Longview, Texas. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Hannah Jamison Parks; brother, Brian Parks; sister, Melissa Lewis; father in law, Samuel Jamison Sr; mother in law, Hollis Jamison; brother in law, Samuel Jamison Jr; sister in laws, Rebecca Morris (Timothy), and Jael Jamison; nephews, Timothy Morris II (Annie), Joshua Morris (Megan), Caleb Mosley, Dalton Jamison, Colton Jamison; nieces, Breanna Laastad (Travis), Grace Henson (Garrett), and Alaina Mosley; great nephews, Cayden Laastad, Easton Laastad, Huxley Henson, and Thomas Morris; great nieces, Morgan Morris, Jaycee Morris, Tatiana Morris, Theadora Morris, Mattie Henson, Karsin Mosley, and Adalynn Mosley; and by his close friends, Steve and Angie Williamson and children, Mercedes Duenas, Jacob Duenas, and Dakota Williamson.
