Judy Carol Thomas, 75, of Troup, Texas, went to be with the Lord on September 27, 2021, in Troup, Texas. She was born April 26, 1946, in Whitewright, Texas to the late William Tracy and Bonnie Mary Reynolds Stephens. Funeral services for Judy Thomas will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021, at First United Methodist of Troup, with the Reverend John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Henry's Chapel Cemetery, Troup. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021, at Cottle Funeral Home. Judy enjoyed spending time with her family and cooking. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Troup. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Robert L. Thomas of Troup; children, Tracye Martin and husband Kevin of Troup, Adam Thomas and wife Wendy of Troup, and Bruce Thomas of Troup; brothers, Larry Stephens of Kennedale, TX, Roy Stephens and wife Donna, of Silsbee, TX; sisters, Janna Mitchell and husband Joe of Arlington, TX, Jill Cuka of Abilene, TX; 8 grandchildren, Carolanne Delosantos, Taylor Dobbs, Kayla MacDonell, Brett Martin, Troy Thomas, Marissa Wimberly, Wesley Thomas, and Shane Thomas; and 3 great-grandchildren, Harper Dobbs, Archer Wimberly, and Beau Dobbs. Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Grandsons-in-law. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Angel Care Hospice of Henderson or First United Methodist Church of Troup. Arrangements are under the direction of Cottle Funeral Home, Troup.
