Duncan Banner, Tues., Dec. 4, 2007 Waurika - CLAUDE ANTHONY, 90, of Waurika, passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, in Waurika Nursing Home. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Waurika, with Guy Mora officiating. Burial will be in Waurika Cemetery under direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Waurika. Condolences: www.dudleyfuneralhomes.com From funeral home obituary: Claude Anthony was born July 17, 1917, in Waurika, to J.W. and Nettie Florence Mabry Anthony. He graduated from Claypool School in 1938. He was a truck driver for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waurika. He and Addie Burnam were married June 2, 1958, in Waurika. She preceded him in death May 4, 1994. Survivors include his son, Billy Anthony and his wife Vivee of Pineville, La.; two sisters-in-law, Beaulah Anthony and Ethel Anthony; two grandchildren, Casse and Ian; and several nieces and nephews.
