Bio

Carl Glenn Dunn, 82, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away Nov. 28, 2007, in Duncanville, Texas. He was born May 2, 1925, in Altoga, Texas to Carl F. and Leta Hazel (Moreland) Dunn. He grew up in Altoga, marrying his wife, Bonnie Ruth Grunewald in 1947 in Halletsville, Texas. She preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 1987. He later married Betty Jo Hendricks on April 23, 1998, in Plano. He served his country in the Air Force during World War II as a B-24 pilot. Mr. Dunn attended Northwest Baptist Church in Arlington. He was a sales manager for Triangle Oil Refinery for the southeast U.S. He is survived by wife, Betty; children Glenn Alan Dunn and his wife, Lani B. of Grand Prairie, Nannette Dunn of Dallas, David Michael Dunn and his wife, Junnie of Mansfield and Karen Farris and her husband, Ronald of Midlothian; grandchildren Jesse, Justin, Evan and Kathleen Dunn and Gary Farris; great-grandchildren Liam and Zachary Dunn; brothers, Charles and Von Roy Dunn and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie; son, Gary; grandson, Darin Farris; sister, Frances Jewel and brother, Kenneth Dunn. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, at Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home in Princeton. Service will be held at 1 p.m. in Altoga Cemetery in Altoga.
