Thomas Earl Uhl, 76, 3901 Green Ave., died Thursday at a Sioux City nursing home after a brief illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Monsignor Frank J. Brady will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of the W. Harry Christy Funeral Home, 1801 Morningside Ave. Mr. Uhl was born Nov. 5, 1904 in Mapleton and moved to Bronson as a young man. He had lived in Sioux City for 50 years. He married Mabel I. Amick and she died Jan. 1974. He worked as a professional landscaper and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Survivors include two sons, Tim and Dan, both of Sioux City; three brothers, Leo of Sioux City, Ed of South Sioux City and Lou of Oto; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Zieman of Denison, Mrs. Buck (Theresa) Flanders of Sioux City and Mrs. Mary Hupke of Sioux City and two grandchildren.
