U.S. ARMY When PFC Anthony Harold Uhl was born on July 18, 1912, in Mapleton, Iowa, his father, William, was 43 and his mother, Mary, was 37. He married Elvira E Peterson on June 23, 1942, in Sioux City, Iowa. He died on May 28, 1981, in Sioux City, Iowa, at the age of 68, and was buried there.
