Rhoda Higginbotham married Stephen (Delsandra) Wheat in 1866 in Cleburne County, Alabama. They had 2 children. She married James Runnells on 25 Mar 1875 in Cleburne County, Alabama. They had one son. ——— Aged Willis Woman. Mrs. Rhoda Runnels, 87, who died near Willis, Sunday, was buried at the Powell Cemetery on Monday under the direction of the Watts Funeral Home. The Madill Record (Madill, Oklahoma), 1 Dec 1927, Thu. —— Grandma Runnnels Dead Grandma Runnels, an old settler here, passed away Saturday night. Grandma lived with her daughter Mrs Will Askew. She was 80 years old. Funeral services were held at the Powell cemetery Monday afternoon. Those who survive are Mrs Will Askew of Willis, Lee Runnels of Altus, and Guss Wheat. Rev. G. T.
