Bio
There is record that Anton Krop married Verona Stach on 25 Apr 1868 in Galveston County, Texas. Anton Kropp and Vernoica were enumerated on 26 June 1880 in Williamson County, Texas. The information as recorded was as follows: Krop, Anton 45 Farmer Prussia Prussia Austria Vernica 30 wife Keeping House Prussia Prussia Austria Joe 12 son Prussia Prussia Austria Tone 9 " Prussia Prussia Austria James 5 dau [sic] Prussia Prussia Austria Mary 4 son [sic] Prussia Prussia Austria John 3 " Prussia Prussia Austria No more records of son Joe have located. The other children were born in Texas, most likely in Williamson County although son Anton's death certificate says he was born in Galveston County. When enumerated for censuses, they consistently said that their parents were born in Bohemia or Moravia or Austria or later Czechoslovakia. The one exception was John who said Germany in 1910 and 1930 but Moravia in 1920. Mary, oddly enough, never seems to again be enumerated. In addition to the children listed in 1880, there were two more children, Annie born in 1882 and Tom in 1885. There are accounts on Ancestry trees that Anton Kropp died in 1884 in Williamson County but without documentation.
