Bio

Gerald "Jerry" Lawrence Osantowski, son of Benedict and Ann (Hofpar) Osantowski, was born in Seward, NE on January 27, 1941. Growing up, Jerry moved with his family to various farms. They eventually settled in the Genoa/St. Edward area where Jerry attended high school and graduated from St. Edward High in 1959. Following high school, Jerry farmed before entering the United States Army National Guard on October 22, 1963. Jerry was honorable discharged on April 21, 1964 and returned home to continue farming. On August 8, 1966, Jerry was united in marriage to Diane Krings at the United Methodist Church in Columbus, NE. The couple made their home near Genoa until moving to their farm near Clarks, NE in 1972. Jerry was a lifelong farmer, raising corn, soybeans, hogs, and cattle.
