Bio

Rex M. Brott, age 73, of Atlanta, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 27, 2021 in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. He was born on August 8, 1947 in Kearney, Nebraska to Melvin and Muriel McNeel Brott. Rex attended Cass County Cowboy Church and was a mechanic by trade. He was good with his hands and could make anything. Rex loved to be on the water and was an avid fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Brott; in laws, Fred and Bernice Seberger; and special father in law, Ollie Valentine. Rex is survived by his wife, Sue Brott of Atlanta, Texas; son, Shaun W. Brott and wife Kily of North Platte, Nebraska; two daughters, Sheila Sanford and husband Kevin of Minden, Nebraska, Carrie Crum and husband Scott of Nebraska City, Nebraska; step son, Kevin Keim and wife Brooke of Chadron, Nebraska; step daughter, Keeley Lammers and husband Adam of Omaha, Nebraska; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service. A memorial service will be held at a future date at Fort McPherson Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska.
