REPA, Sr., Edwin Aloys of Granger. Age 65. Died 2/24/1990 (Sat.) in Johns Community Hospital. Services held (Monday) at SS Cyril & Methodius Church. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Msgr Ed. Rabroker officiated. He was BORN 1/14/1925 in Granger to the late Paul & Frances (Pekar) Repa. WW-2 veteran and lifelong resident of Granger. For 35 years he was a homebuilder as owner of Edwin Repa Sr. Construction Co. Member of above church, the Knights of Columbus, KJT, American Legion, VFW, Catholic Workman and Catholic Life. Served as secretary of RVOS and was a former city councilman and bank director of Granger National Bank. Preceded in death by 2 brothers, Arnold & Albert Repa, Sr. SURVIVORS: Wife, Marie Hajda Repa of Granger; 5 daughters and husbands, Mary Ann/Mike Miles of Kingwood; Doris/Danny Carter of Taylor; Loretta/Glenn Unnasch of Austin, Jeanette/Michael Rozacky of Waco, Cindy/Donnie Farrell of Houston; son and wife, Karen/Edwin Repa, Jr. of Atascocita; 4 sisters, Sybil Naizer, Edith Kubacak of Granger, Mary Zarosky of Cameron, Dorothy Rozacky of Alvin; 2 brothers, Gilbert Repa of Granger, Joe Repa of Round Rock; 10 grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.
