Bio
Rose A. Moffitt was called home to Heaven on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the age of 85. Rose is survived by her loving children Michael Allen Moffit (Michelle Sheeren) and Joan Moffitt Anticich (Craig); sisters Linda Anderson (late Edward), Sheila Hessinger, and Nancy Price (Alan). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Wesley Moffitt parents Otto and Bertha Allen; sisters Joan Allen Carpenter and Betty Kay Allen Jenkins. Rose retired from AT&T after more than forty years of service. She was a devoted member of the Riverside Baptist Church, and served with the AT&T Pioneers Volunteer Network as as well as the Order of the Eastern Star. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of Brownlie-Maxwell Funeral Home, 1010 Palmetto Avenue, Melbourne, FL on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 7:00pm. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm until service time. Interment will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery, 5454 Pontchartrain Boulevard, New Orleans, LA 70124. Family and friends are welcome.
