MATYSEK, Joe F. of Taylor. Age 76. Died 11/30/1986 (Sunday) in Johns Community Hospital. Rosary recited Monday at Condra Memorial Chapel. Services held (Tuesday) from St.Mary's Church. Burial in church cemetery. Rev. Howard Goertz officiated. He was BORN 4/21/1910 and a lifetime resident of the Taylor area. Member of above church and the KJT Lodge. Engaged in farming until his retirement. SURVIVORS: Step-mother, Mrs. Mary Matysek of Granger; 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Celestine) Kelm of Thorndale, Miss Anita Matysek of San Antonio; sister, Mrs. Joe (Elsie) Pospisil of Austin; step-sister, Mrs. Lydia Jirosek of Taylor; brother, Edwin Matysek of Taylor; step-brother, Joe Fojtik of Granger; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
