Elaine Simpson Ash 1939 - 2021 Early Life: Elaine was born August 13, 1939, in Springville, Utah, to Francis Louis and Catherine Faye Christensen Simpson. Life's Work | Service | Interests: On January 23, 1959, she married Joseph Lee Ash in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2006. There were many things Elaine could do in life and she was admired for her abilities. She was a loving mother to all of her children. She carried the light of Christ to help her children to grow individually. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her favorite calling was serving in the Young Women organization. She loved sports, cooking, and serving her family. Elaine Simpson Ash, of Orem, Utah, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. She was 81. Survived By: Her children: Christine (Don) Pead, Kevin Ash, Ron (Lee) Ash; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Joseph; daughter, Rose Ann; son, Steven; her parents; and at least two siblings.
