Bio

BORGER - Andy Morrison, 89, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Westlawn Cemetery in Borger. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Morrison's nephew, Dan Morrison, and wife Betty will attend on behalf of the Morrison family. Andy was born Jan. 16, 1918, to Jake and Stella Morrison in Palestine. Andy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He served in World War II and retired from Pantex in 1983. He loved to golf, hunt and water ski. He was preceded in death by his loved and cherished wife, Ruby Curry Morrison, on Jan. 29, 2007; two brothers, Leonard Morrison and Lawrence Morrison; and two sisters, Irene Perkins and Vallie Perkins. Survivors include two stepsons, Lanny Curry and wife Darla of Houston and Mike Curry and wife Betty of El Reno, Okla.; a sister, Ila Mae Austin of Palestine; and numerous stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews.
