(05/06/2022) Information from Barbara Sturdevant Miller, [email protected] , 21 Jan 2007: Ruby Ann Sturdevant's maiden name was Hall. Her mother was a Barnes. She was born June 4, 1893. She was the second wife of E. E. Sturdevant. They were married in Hugo, Ok., April 29, 1911. She died April 8, 1929, in Roxton, TX giving birth--baby was buried with her. At time of death, she had six living children. They were sons, David N. Sturdevant, P. D. Sturdevant; daughters Frances M. Sturdevant (Willis), Ruby Ann Sturdevant (Mitchell), Imanell Sturdevant (Corley), Moody Sturdevant (Garner), and one deceased teen-age daughter Myrle Sturdevant. Tombstone is inscribed "Ruby Ann Sturdevant" with years of birth and death only. Buried next to David N. Sturdevant ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
