Obituary for Francis D. Zabloudil Francis D. Zabloudil, 80, passed away, Wednesday May 13, 2015, at Bryan Medical Center East in Lincoln, Nebraska. Francis D. Zabloudil was born October 29, 1934 in Ord, Nebraska the son of George John and Gertrude Emma (Long) Zabloudil. He grew up on a farm outside Ericson, Nebraska and graduated from Ord High School with the class of 1952. Francis entered the US Army and served his country from 1954 to 1957. He married Madeline Stokes on March 15, 1956 in New York, New York, they later separated and then were reunited and have been together for the past 32 years. Francis married Janet Osentowski on December 26, 1976 in Lincoln, Nebraska, Janet passed away. Francis was a master craftsman photographer and owned Zabloudil Studios, he received many awards including Professional American Photographer of the Year 1972. He was a member of the Professional Photographer Association where he had served as President. Francis enjoyed skiing, riding motorcycles, gardening, playing pool and flying his plane. Francis is survived by his wife, Madeline Zabloudil of Lincoln, NE; four daughter, Deanne Hynek, Sherry Smart and her husband Jeff, Valerie White and her husband Mark all of Lincoln, NE, and Tonia Zabloudil of Eugene, OR; six grandchildren, Noah White and his wife Amie, Kirby Montgomery and her husband Robert, Alisha Mills and her husband Adam, Samantha Hynek, Danielle Hynek, and Drew Smart; six great grandchildren, Ava, Aaliyah, Kinsley, Kollins, Karrington, and Ayanna; brother-in-law, Ron Peters; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Janet Zabloudil; and sister, Jeanette Peters. Private family services were held. In honoring his wishes to be cremated there will be no visitation. Lincoln Family Funeral Care in Lincoln is handling arrangements.
