Graveside services for William "Scotty" Stone, 66, Ben Wheeler, Texas, are scheduled for 2 p. m. Saturday at Fairway Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Mize officiating under direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van. Mr. Stone died November 8, 2007, at his home. He was born October 29, 1941, in McKinney to the late Ben Thomas and Flora Layman Stone. He had lived in Ben Wheeler about 12 years, moving from Allen, Texas, and in the Dallas area, where he had lived most of his life. He was retired from Texas Instuments where he worked for 33 years as an electronic technician. He was preceded in death by siser, Melba Mize. Survivors include his wife, Mary Stone, Ben Wheeler, Texas; son, Gregory Scott Stone, Bedford, Texas; daughter, Sheri Calvert, Ben Wheeler, Texas; brothers Curtis Stone, Garland, Texas, Robert Stone, Carrolton, Texas; sisters, Frances Beach, Dallas, Texas, Faye Young, Bridgeton, Mo., and Bennie Cox, Tyler, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
