THE PARIS NEWS, Sunday, April 30, 1944, p. 11: “MRS. FRANK JONES. Mrs. Frank Jones died at 1 a.m. Saturday after a short illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lemuel Brecheen at Howland, where she lived. Her husband, the late Frank Jones, was for several terms Lamar County commissioner for Precinct 2. Dr. A. B. White of First Baptist Church here will conduct funeral service Sunday at 4 p.m. at Brown-Roden Funeral Home, and interment will be made in Roxton Cemetery. The pallbearers are Will Ed Justiss, Jesse Justiss, Rufus Watson, O. J. Rutherford, Clovis Cooper and Shelby Bledsoe. The former Miss Lula I. Derrick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Derrick, Mrs. Jones was born in Mississippi, Sept. 3, 1873. She leaves three children, Roy W.
