Danny Wayne Zaidle, age 64, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 15, 2021 in Ennis, Texas. Danny was born in Dallas, Texas to Willie and Dorothy Chmelar Zaidle on January 31, 1957. He grew up in Ennis and attended school at Ennis High School. They were members of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and loved and trusted in the Lord. In April 2015, he reunited with his soulmate Mary Richardson and within a couple years became his fiancé. He was devoted to Mary and his family, always putting them first. Following his graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army achieving his sharp- shooter badge M16 and good conduct medal. His ranking was a Specialist Four. Danny was exceedingly patriotic and loved serving his country. He was stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Vietnam, Korea, Belgium, and Germany. He worked for Cabinetworks Group for 20+ years. He was a part of the maintenance department and a machinist until 2020 when his illness forced him to retire. He was committed to his career and he let his "yes mean yes". – Matthew 5:37. He also enjoyed events in his Czech heritage, hunting, fishing, and cooking…he was a master on the grill and enjoyed spending nights in front of the fireplace with Mary. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; John and Annie Zaidle, & Charles and Dora Chmelar; father, Willie Zaidle; sister Linda Collard. Danny is survived by his fiancé, Mary Richardson; his mother, Dorothy Chmelar Zaidle; sister, Carol Rejcek; brother, Randall Zaidle; nieces, Kim Pechal and husband Tommy; Brandi Harper and husband Kevin; Rannette Woodall and husband Aaron; nephew Kevin Collard, and numerous great nieces, nephews and extended families. Visitation for family and friends will be 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 with a rosary at 7 P.M. at Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home in Ennis. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Saint John Nepomucene Catholic Church on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 10 A.M. with Father John Dick as celebrant. Interment will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Ennis. Arrangements are under the direction of Boze Mitchell McKibbin Funeral Home, 800 South Kaufman street, Ennis, Texas.
