Son of Josef I Janda and Rosina Muzny. Josef married Veronika Knebel (1795-1848) on 27 Jan 1822. Josef and Veronika had seven children; Jan (1822-1875), Josef (1824-1867), Frantisek (1825-1880), Rosalie (1828-1908), Mariana (1830-1899), Veronika (1832-1875), and Karel (1834-1862). All of the children emigrated to Texas, USA.
