Bio

Karel "Charles" Janda was the youngest son of Joseph Janda, Jr. and Veronika Knebel. Born in House # 102 Trojanovice, Moravia he immigrated from Moravia to Texas about 1860. He married to Rosalia "Rasalie" Petter on 14 Feb 1862 in Fayette County, Texas. Before his death, they had these known offspring: - Marie Janda (1865–1896) - Rosalia Janda (1866–1919) His widow remarried to Jan "John" Steffek, Sr. on 17 Nov 1868 at Dubina in Fayette County, Texas.
