The Columbus Telegram Wednesday Jan 26, 1972 Joseph Sypal rite Friday in Brainard BRAINARD Funeral services for Joseph M. F. Sypal, 74, who died Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Church, Brainard, Rev. Paul Sheehy officiating. The body will lie in state at Holesovky Funeral Home, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He was born June 13, 1897, at Brainard, son of James A. and Anna Hromas Sypal. He was a Brainard High graduate. He was married to Adella Dolista, and a lifetime resident of Brainard where he was a carpenter. Survivors are his wife; daughters, Mrs. James (Fern) Valone of Burbank, Calif.,. Mrs. Dean (Sally) Scott of Pine Forest, Calif., Mrs. D. F. (Van) Anderson of Peoria, Calif., Mrs. Lester (Dolly) Kaska of Lincoln; sons Donald of St. Joseph, Mo., Wilton of Des Moines, Iowa, Kenneth of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
