Obituary Sigurd, Utah - Heartly Austin Brown, age 77 of Sigurd passed away at his home on April 29, 2021. Heartly was born October 15, 2021 1943, in Salina, Utah, a son of Austin Christian and Vada Newby Brown. He grew up in Sigurd and graduated from Richfield High School. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Heartly loved to fish and hunt. Koosharem Reservoir and Forsite Reservoir were his two favorite places. He enjoyed firearms and liked to reload. He was mechanically skilled and could fix almost anything especially guns. Though he didn't have his own children, and never married, he loved his nieces and nephews and taught some of them how to shoot. He loved his family and will be greatly missed. Heartly is survived by his two sisters-in-law: Arva Brown of Elsinore; Camilla Brown of Sigurd and a brother-in-law Ronald D. Brown of Junction. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and by three brothers: Clinton Brown; Arland Brown; Arbon Brown; two sisters: Belva Brown and Leora Brown. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel, 30 South 100 West, in Sigurd. Friends may call for viewing from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. prior to services, or from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday May 10, 2021 at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West, in Richfield. Burial will be in the Sigurd City Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
