Bio
Mary Frances Meyers passed away April 22, 2021. She was born Sept. 8, 1923 in Bartlett, Texas to the late Louis Jurecka and Victoria Kocurek. She graduated from Bartlett High School. She married Arthur J Meyers, Jr., on June 24, 1950. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Burleson. Her and Art enjoyed traveling the world, where they saw Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Hawaii and many more. She loved working cross stitch, cooking, laughing, bird watching, sewing and socializing. She retired from the Social Security office in 1997 after 40-plus years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Martha Hanusch, Georgia Nell Orand and O'Tillie Zschiesche; brother, Theodore Jurecka; daughter, Barbara Parkhill; and grandson, Nathaniel Sneed. Survivors: Daughter, Cynthia Alvarado; grandchildren, Alexander Alvarado of Burleson, Michell Parkhill (Brianna) of Burleson and Christopher Alvarado (Sheree) of Royse City; and great-grandchildren, Adreanna Alvarado and Braydon Cox, both of Burleson and Savannah, Christopher and Seraphine Alvarado of Royse City
