Bio

Martha Victoria Jurecka Hanusch, 94, died peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2007, in Georgetown. Martha was born on March 13, 1913, to Louis and Victoria (Kocurek) Jurecka in Bartlett. She later married John A. Hanusch Jr. on June 16, 1940, in Walburg. They were members of the Zion Lutheran Church in Walburg where Martha taught Sunday school for 15 years. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother and one grandson. Martha is survived by her husband John of Georgetown; children, Vicki (Harlan) Leschber of Georgetown, Martha Ann (Lee) Harris of Liberthy Hill and David (Barbara) Hanusch of Georgetown and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, April 17, at Zion Luhteran Church in Walburg. Burial followed at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
