David R. Nesladek, 75 years of Morse Bluff, NE passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021 at Kinship Pointe Assisted Living in Seward, NE. David was born on April 5, 1946 to Adolph and Anna (Pabian) Nesladek in North Bend, NE. David was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart (Cedar Hill) Catholic Church near Morse Bluff, where he attended church and grade school at rural district #77. He attended North Bend High School and was drafted into the U.S. Army. He served from November 27, 1967 to November 25, 1970 during Vietnam. David resided near Morse Bluff where he farmed the family farm during his lifetime. After retiring from farming, he moved to North Bend. David enjoyed collecting toy farm equipment and reading farmers magazines. He also enjoyed the visits of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. David was a member of the American Legion Post #340 in Morse Bluff, VFW Post #8223 and a Knights of Columbus at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church both in North Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip. He is survived by sister, Phyllis (L.J.) Meinberg of Seward, NE; and brother, James (Millie) Nesladek of Polson, MT. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Wednesday May 5, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend, NE. Father Keith Rezac will officiate. Burial with military honors will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery near Morse Bluff.
