Bio

Anna M. Nesladek, 95 years, of North Bend, NE died Friday, June 17, 2016 at Birchwood Manor in North Bend. Anna was born June 1, 1921 in Morse Bluff, NE to Mike and Anna (Bratrsovsky) Pabian. She grew up and lived her life in the Morse Bluff and North Bend area. Anna worked at the former D & L Lumber Company at North Bend and at the former Corner Cafe in Schuyler, NE. She moved into North Bend in 1979 and had been residing at Birchwood Manor since 2005. Anna married Adolph V. Nesladek on February 13, 1945 in Wahoo, NE. Adolph died August 19, 1979. Anna was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend and St. Anne's Altar Society. She was active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Cedar Hill before moving to North Bend. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #8223 Auxiliary at North Bend. She is survived by sons, David Nesladek of North Bend and James and wife, Millie Nesladek of Polson, MT; daughter, Phyllis and husband, L.J. Meinberg of Seward, NE; 6 granddaughters and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Phillip; sisters, Mary Shuler and Rita Paseka; and brothers, Tom, Mike, Victor and Frank Pabian. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM, Tuesday June 21, 2016 at St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend. Fr. Keith Rezac will officiate. Visitation Monday from 5-8 PM and a rosary will be said at 7 PM all at Moser Memorial Chapel in North Bend. Burial at the Cedar Hill Cemetery near Morse Bluff, NE Memorials may be directed to St. Charles Catholic Church in North Bend.
