MATOUS "MATTHEW" MOKRY GRANGER -- Funeral services will be held here on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. at the Condra Funeral Home for Matthew Matous Mokry, 90, who died on Wednesday in a Taylor hospital. Requiem mass will follow at 10 a.m. at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Reverend Benedict Mazurkiewicz and Reverend R. L. Mahoney will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Rosary services will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mokry is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Libbie Mokry Polasek, Miss Mary A. Mokry, and Miss Veronica "Vera" Mokry, all of Granger; five sons, Matthew Louis Mokry, Frank Joe Mokry, and Raymond Malchor Mokry Sr., all of Granger, Vaclav Joseph "V. J." Mokry of Winters, and Joseph Rudolph Mokry of Coupland; and 34 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren. [The Austin American Statesman, February 23, 1962.]
