Linda Marie Haney 1948-2021 Linda Marie Haney, 73 of Waller and Houston, Texas, passed away on April 11th, 2021 Born in Bellville, Texas, to parents, Norma Nobia (Wollgast) Haney and Giles Haney. Linda was raised in Waller, Texas, she was the beloved granddaughter of Mary Wollgast. She attended Waller Public Schools, was an Alumn of Blinn College, Sam Houston University and the University of Houston. A Houston resident since 1972, Linda was an accomplished medical transcriptionist (thorasic surgery) employed by notable surgeons : Dr. Michael E. DeBakey, Richard W. Blakely, Michael S. Sweeney, Ricard G. Carney and others. Linda was interested in music her entire life, playing both the piano and organ. She often played for churches and funerals. Predeceased by parents, brother, Robert Haney and her favorite cousin, James B. Haney. Survived by nephews, Robert Haney-Johnson, Michael Haney (wife Sarah), David Haney (wife Shanna), Cousins Cheryl Haney-Roberts, Deborah McCart Rogers and family, Richard, Ardene, Terry and Betty Wollgast, Eunice (Haney) Sitton (husband Doyle), Charlotte Haney, numerous cousins and a host of friends. Linda will be laid to rest beside her father at Fields Store Cemetery. Waller, Texas. Sunday April 18th at 2pm.
