The Inyo Register Newspaper - January 29, 2000 - Bishop, Inyo, California A memorial service for former Big Pine resident Inga Anderson Stewart, 95, will be held March 11 in Big Pine. Cremation is under the direction of The Gardens Crematory in Fallon. A native of Norway, she was born on July 23, 1904 and died Jan. 22 at Fallon Convalescent Hospital. A resident of Fallon, Nevada for the last 10 years, she previously lived in Big Pine. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Womens' Group in Big Pine. She was a 54 year member of the Mt. Whitney Chapter of Eastern Star, and also a Worthy Matron of the Sierra Chapter of Eastern Star. She was also a member of the Nile Club. She leaves her sons Alvin Stewart of Fallon, Nevada and Leon Stewart of Carson City, Nevada; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Parents Gilbert Anderson (1876-1963) & Gina Olsen (1874-1975) married 1902 Norway – 3 known children: Matilda (1903-1945) Inga (1904-2000) Alvin (1907-1986) Inga & Arthur Stewart Jr. (1901-1975) married March 1, 1924 in Fish Lake Valley, Nevada 3 known children: Alvin (1930-2017) Betty (1934-1952) Leon G. (1943-)
