Bio

Rosa Dulock (or Dullock) was baptized March 21, 1875 at Saint James Catholic Church, Seguin, Guadalupe County, Texas. According to her baptismal records, she was born October 23, 1874 in Indian Territory, Oklahoma to Augustus and Amelia Tapp Dullock. Her sponsor was Margaret Campbell. --- Rosie married Adolph Jurek. Their six children were Henry, Anna, Marie, Sophie, Annie, and Louis. She is buried beside her husband at Saint Mary's Catholic Cemetery, at West, McLennan County, Texas in Section 3, Row 10. --- She died September 19, 1944, age 65, at her residence at 920 N. 32nd Street, Waco, McLennan County, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband. Source: Texas Death Certificate # 44009; informant, Henry Jurek of Waco. Note: Her gravestone and death certificate give 1879 as her year of birth but her baptismal record gives 1874.
