Copied with permission: Shawnee News-Star: October 28, 2007: Christina Bertha Pospisil, 99, of Prague, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, in Prague. She was born July 24, 1908, in Collinsville, Okla., to Ernest and Bessie Anna (Ruznicka) Brezny. She was married to Joe Pospisil in Prague on April 15, 1931. He preceded her in death on April 9, 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Prague. She was also preceded in death by her two daughters, Cecilia Hull and Adelene Brooks. She is survived by one grandson and his wife, Tim and Lisa Brooks of Manhattan, Kansas, and their two children, Connor Brooks and Colbi Brooks, also of Manhattan, Kansas; one brother-in-law, Jim Pospisil, Prague; other relatives and many friends. A Wake Service will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church with Fr. Shane Tharp and Rev. Adrian Vorderlandwehr, OSB, officiating. Interment will follow at the Catholic Cemetery in Prague. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
