'''''''''''''''' Fremont Daily Tribune (Fremont, Nebr.), October 20, 1941, p. 2, col. 2 Funeral Services for Mrs. John Krondak Held Sunday PRAGUE – Funeral services for Mrs. John Krondak, 70, who died Wednesday at the home of her son, Joseph, in Scribner, were held Sunday afternoon at the Krondak home in Prague. Rev. B Marck of Wahoo officiated and interment was in the Bohemian national cemetery. Mrs. Krondak was born July 7, 1870, in Bellwood, Ill. In 1891 she and her husband came to Nebraska and settled on a farm near Prague. They lived on the farm until 1901, at which time they moved into the town of Prague. Mrs. Krondak had made her home with her son for the past five years. Survivors include her husband, John, a son, Joseph of Scribner; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Joseph Krondak; two grandchildren; a sister, Ann, of Abie; and three brothers, Mike, Frank and James, all of Linwood.
