Died aged 72 years. Hi JJ, thanks for adding the bio information however my wife noticed some errors...could you please replace it with the below: Vincenc Richlik is how the tombstone reads, however Vinsenz or Vincenz Rychlik came into the United States via New York on the transport ship Rhein on 18 May 1882. The ships log shows Vinsenz Rychlik was 50 years old at that time and the place of origin was: "Bohemia, Czechoslovakia" and lists his ethnicity as Bohemian. In the 1900 United States Federal Census, Vinc Recklyk is shown to be living with his daughter Frances "Fannie" (Rychlik) Tobolka and her husband John Tobolka. In the Census he stated he was born in January 1832 in Bohemia. On his daughter's (Mary Rychlik Marek) Death Certificate , his name is listed as Vinc Rychlik and shows his birthplace as Moravia, Austria. His grandson, William Rychlik recalled that he was called "Vince". All the children/locations/etc. confirm that he is in fact Vinc/Vincenc/Vinsenc/Vincenz/Vince RYCHLIK and that he is buried in the same cemetery (Calvary Cemetery in Granger, Texas) as his wife and daughter Frances "Fannie" Rychlik Tobolka even though his tombstone reads Vincenc RICHLIK. Additionally his wife's name is shown as "Marie Machalicek Rychlikova" - it should be noted that in Czech and other Slavic languages, the suffix "ova" is added to the last names of all females. It's an ending long-ingrained in the vernacular that quite literally means "belonging to" the male, as in belonging to a woman's father or husband.
