THE PARIS NEWS, Sun, Jun 7, 1959: "William Allen Frederick, 70, retired farmer of Powderly, who died Friday, was buried Saturday in Long Cemetery. The funeral at Gene Roden & Sons chapel was conducted at 4 p.m. by the Rev. Hubert Cunningham, Methodist pastor. Mr. Frederick, born at Powderly, Dec. 18, 1888, was a son of the late J. R. and Ellen (Stephens) Frederick. His wife, the former Miss Lou Ell Conder, died in 1954, his death occurring Friday afternoon in Memorial Hospital at Overton, where he had been visiting his daughter, Mrs. H. G. Newcomb, Jr. Besides his daughter, he leaves a son, Ernest Frederick of Denton; nine other descendants, and a sister, Mrs. Tempe Crawford of Tye." Obituary may be viewed here .
